What is a Corporate Key?

A key to access your Company account with ASIC

Updated over a year ago

When you register a new company, ASIC sends a 'Corporate Key' to your Registered Office address.

This 'Key' is an 8-digit code that acts like a PIN code for you to use to access your ASIC Edge Account for your Company details. It takes around a week or two to arrive at your registered office address.

It's been more than two weeks, where is my Corporate Key?

You can request a new one directly with ASIC as well as specify it to be sent to an alternative address. Once you request a new key, your previous corporate key pin will be deactivated.

You can't find or you've lost your Corporate Key?

If you can't find the Corporate Key or think it was lost, you can request a new one directly from ASIC. The link to request a new key is HERE.

What if my Registered Office address is your Virtual Office address?

Your Corporate Key can take up to 2 weeks to be sent to our office. Once received, it will be uploaded to your Virtual Office details. Find out more information about our Virtual Office here

I need an ASIC Key

An ASIC Key gives you access to ASIC Connect, where your Business name details are stored.
You can request a new ASIC Key via the link: ASIC Key

You may wish to cancel your current corporate key to prevent unauthorised people from changing your details. To cancel your corporate key, request a new corporate key online. This makes any previous corporate keys invalid.
