Why should I appoint Lawpath as my ASIC Agent?

What an ASIC Agent costs and how they can support your company

Updated over a year ago

Having an ASIC Agent provides extra help in managing your company, ensuring you stay organised, avoid fines, and reduce ASIC paperwork. This allows you to concentrate on running your business smoothly.

What is an ASIC Agent?

An ASIC Agent is someone who has been provided permission to act on your behalf when dealing with ASIC for company renewals, processing company changes, providing ASIC extracts or any other forms with ASIC.

How much does it cost for Lawpath to be my ASIC Agent?

Assigning Lawpath as your ASIC Agent is free!

If you would like Lawpath to make changes on behalf of your business or action your company renewal there will be fees involved for our work drafting the legal documents, plus the government fees, but there will be no charge unless you wish to go forward and plenty of notice of quotes.

Will I still be able to access ASIC myself?

Yes, even if you have appointed an ASIC Agent, you will still be able to use your own corporate key to log in and manage your company details directly with ASIC.

Where can I get an ASIC Extract?

You can download an ASIC extract from your company details in the online ASIC officeholder portal. If Lawpath is your ASIC agent, you can request one at any time from us. Simply contact our Live Chat team.

Can I change my ASIC Agent?

Yes, if you already have an ASIC Agent, you can reassign permission to another agent to give them permission to act on your behalf.

You can only have one ASIC Agent at a time, so if you do assign a different business as an agent, the previous business will automatically be removed. You can also remove an agent at any time without needing to reassign.
