If you have recently registered a company in Australia you will typically need to have a separate bank account for tax purposes.
Key Documents
Each bank has different rules and regulations, though generally there are a few key documents required by a company before they can open a bank account:
Certificate of Registration
Australian Business Number (ABN)
Personal Identification documents for directors
eg Passport or Drivers License, Citizenship/Birth Certificates
Tax residency information (including TFN)
Additionally, other documents such as Share Certificates, Appointment of Directors and Occupier Consent Form may also need to be provided as additional proof of registration and ownership.
