How long does it take for my Company to be registered?

Time frame to successfully register a company

Updated over a year ago

A company registration typically takes 15-30 minutes to process once submitted, and the form itself takes about 10 minutes to complete when you have all of the required details available.

In some cases, your application may be Flagged for manual review. This just means the company will be manually reviewed by ASIC as opposed to being automated through their system and can take 30 minutes to 2 hours for ASIC to action this.

If your company registration is 'Rejected', our Company Registration Team will reach out and advise on the rejection reason and help update to get processed at no extra cost.

When your company is 'Successful', you will be notified via email, and the ACN & Formation Documents will be viewable in your Lawpath account in your Company Dashboard. Simply log in and select Registrations then view details!

*During public holidays, planned maintenance or ASIC delays, there may be changes in the timeframe for registering your company. Lawpath will endeavour to keep you updated on any potential delays to company registration

When do you receive Company Documents?

You will be able to find your company documents in your Lawpath account once it is registered.
If you have opted into a compliance plan, you can view and download these immediately from your Company Dashboard under the 'Formation documents' tile.

If you did not choose a compliance option, you will need to upgrade before you are able to download the documents.
