Step 1: Request Consultation
Choose the 'Consultations' menu, and then 'Request Consultation'. You can also go directly to the link: https://my.lawpath.com/consultations/my-consultations
Step 2: Agree to the Caveats
After selecting a Lawyer or Accountant (access depending on your subscription), you must agree that your consult fits the caveats.
Step 3: Choose an Area of Law and Sub Topic
Select the relevant Topic Area from the menu and the sub-topic.
Don't worry if you are unsure; the booking manager will assign the right lawyer!
Step 4: Enter your Brief
Provide the details and questions you wish to discuss, ensuring they are relevant to your business. Tips are available for assistance if you are unsure what to ask.
Here is also where you can add additional contact information should you wish the lawyer/accountant to call another Team member.

Step 5: [Optional] Upload a Document
If relevant to your question, upload a document to be reviewed. If not, simply choose skip.
You can choose to upload a 'completed' document from your Lawpath library, or upload a PDF document directly from your computer.
Step 6: [Optional] Select a preferred lawyer
You can choose to speak to a preferred lawyer, or we will assign the most suitable based on your brief.
Step 6: Choose the preferred Date and Time
Choose the date and time for your consultation. The timezone will automatically be for Sydney, but you can change it to where you are based in Australia.

Step 7: Select what type of consultation you prefer
You can either select a phone call or a video call.
Please note video calls happen within the Lawpath platform.
Step 8: Review the details
This is where you can review your consultation details before the booking is automatically confirmed.
If you have any questions or would like to run through the bookings with your account manager, you can email [email protected] or contact our Live Chat team!
