How to book a Legal or Accounting Advice Consultation

Step by Step Guide to Booking your Advice Consultations & Speak to a lawyer or accountant

Step 1: Request Consultation

From the sidebar, choose 'Consultations'. You can also go directly to the link:

Step 2: Agree to the Caveats

After selecting a lawyer or account, you must agree that your consult fits the caveats of the plan

Step 3: Choose an Area of Law and Sub Category

Select the relevant area of law from the drop-down menu. Don't worry if unsure; the booking manager will assign the right lawyer

Step 4: Enter your Brief

Provide the details and questions you wish to discuss, ensuring they are relevant to your business. Tips are available for assistance if unsure what to ask.

Step 5: [Optional] Upload a Document

If relevant to your question, upload a document to be reviewed. If not, simply choose next.
You can choose to upload a 'completed' document from your Lawpath library, or upload a PDF document directly from your computer.

Step 6: [Optional] Select a preferred lawyer

Step 6: Choose the preferred Date and Time

Choose the date and time for your consultation. The timezone will automatically be for Sydney, but you can change it to where you are based in Australia.

Step 7: Review

Double-check your brief and uploaded materials before submitting the request.

Step 8: Check for Approval

After approval by the booking manager, you'll receive an email confirming the status and the professional will call you at the scheduled time.
