Understanding Your ASIC Application Status

Your application is with ASIC and being processed. This typically takes up to 48 hours.

What you need to do: Nothing — we just need to wait for ASIC to complete their review. We'll notify you by email and in your Lawpath activity feed as soon as there's an update.

Nothing to worry about — 'Flagged' just means ASIC is manually reviewing your application, rather than approving it automatically. This usually takes up to 5 business days, though it can take up to 28 business days in some cases.

What you need to do: Nothing, unless ASIC contacts you directly for further information — for example, extra ID verification for a director or shareholder. Keep an eye on your email and respond promptly if they do, to avoid extra delays.

ASIC has rejected your application. This can happen for a range of reasons, and our Company Registrations team can talk you through what happened and what your options are.
