Where can I find my ABN once it’s registered?

An ABN (Australian Business Number) is a unique 11-digit number assigned to businesses or entities in Australia.

You need your ABN to receive all Business payments, register for PAYG and GST and register a .com.au domain and business name(s).

  • You can find your ABN details when you log into your Lawpath account under Registrations > My Registrations > View Details.

  • Our ABN Registration Team will send you an email confirmation including your ABN number as well.

  • ATO correspondence: The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) may include your ABN on various letters or correspondence related to taxation matters.

  • Australian Business Register (ABR): The ABR maintains a publicly accessible register called ABN Lookup. You can search for your ABN on the ABN Lookup website here.

If you have registered your ABN to be active for a future date, your ABN will not be searchable till then. Contact our LiveChat support team to confirm your activation date.
